CHaRA Mission brings hope to rural Tanzania through faith-driven work in health, education, safe living, and child protection. Programs include homes for vulnerable girls and babies, hygiene kit distribution, and care for children with disabilities.

Our Connection

Ron and Carol McDonald went with my Mom on missions trips before I was born! We have been supporters of CHaRA since it started and my parents serve on the CHaRA board. I always look forward to those meetings because I get to see one of my best friends - their granddaughter Ellie! What's so inspiring is that they have been working to develop a team of Tanzanians who will run the Birthing Hope center to continue to serve the needs of young mothers and orphans in Tanzania.
